Senior Mobile Engineer

About the role

Sezzle is looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to join its fast‑growing fintech team. You will help shape the next generation of shopping experiences by building and scaling a cross‑platform mobile app used by millions of users worldwide. The role combines deep technical work with close collaboration across product, design, and business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship new features for Sezzle’s TypeScript React Native app and Golang backend APIs.
• Manage releases using cohorting, feature flags, and app‑store infrastructure to ensure safe rollouts.
• Collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders to align on requirements and deliver value.
• Write clean, scalable, robust, and testable code while continuously improving code quality.
• Own the performance, reliability, and monitoring of the mobile application and its key KPIs.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional mobile development experience.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with React Native or a comparable cross‑platform framework.
• Proven ability to deliver mobile applications to both Apple App Store and Google Play.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, performance optimization, and testing best practices.
