Senior Mobile Developer (React Native)

About the role

Flatiron is seeking a Senior Mobile Developer with deep expertise in React Native to build and maintain high‑performance, content‑rich applications for iOS and Android. You will work remotely with a global team, delivering scalable solutions for advertising, video streaming, and media publishing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross‑platform mobile apps using React Native.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA in an Agile environment.
• Integrate and manage mobile advertising stacks such as Google Ad Manager and DoubleClick.
• Implement video playback using native players, JW Player, Video.js, or similar SDKs.
• Debug and resolve issues across both React Native and native iOS/Android code.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, performance optimization, and best‑practice guidelines.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.

Required profile

• Advanced written and oral English proficiency.
• 5+ years of professional mobile development experience.
• Strong experience with React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Hands‑on knowledge of native iOS (Swift/Objective‑C) and Android (Java/Kotlin) when needed.
• Experience with mobile ad technologies (Google Ad Manager, DoubleClick, other SDKs).
• Background in video streaming or media applications is highly preferred.
