Senior Media & PR Specialist – LATAM

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Media & PR Specialist for Spanish‑speaking Latin America to strengthen our media presence, public relations, local communications and online reputation. This senior individual contributor role combines relationship building, content creation, localisation and hands‑on marketing execution.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors and media outlets across financial, business, technology and mainstream sectors in LATAM.
• Identify and pitch PR opportunities, coordinate interviews, media briefings and executive commentary.
• Write and edit high‑quality Spanish‑language press releases, articles, executive commentary and other PR content.
• Localise global English marketing copy into natural, culturally appropriate Spanish for campaigns, websites, apps, social media and other customer‑facing materials.
• Monitor and manage the company’s Spanish‑language online reputation, track sentiment and respond to negative reviews or misinformation.
• Represent the company at selected industry events, media gatherings and sponsorship activities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in public relations, media relations, corporate or brand communications.
• Proven hands‑on experience building and maintaining journalist and media relationships.
• Excellent written and spoken Spanish and English, with strong editorial skills.
• Ability to translate complex financial or product information into clear, engaging communications.
• Comfortable attending events, networking and representing the brand publicly.

Required skills

• Strong professional writing and editorial capability for press releases and articles.
• Expertise in localisation of English marketing content into high‑quality Spanish.
• Understanding of digital media and online reputation management.
