Senior Manual QA Engineer

About the role

Svitla Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior Manual QA Engineer to join a fast‑growing team that supports multiple online platforms delivering spiritual and emotional wellness content. You will act as the primary gatekeeper for a modernized core platform, using AI‑assisted tools to accelerate test documentation and ensure high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a comprehensive testing strategy for the platform migration, covering functional, performance, and regression aspects.
• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria for complex, data‑driven web applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects with precision, collaborating closely with developers for rapid resolution.
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot) to generate synthetic edge‑case data and draft complex test scenarios.
• Perform API testing using Postman and validate data across MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and MySQL databases.
• Execute manual testing across various mobile devices and mobile web browsers.
• Utilize Selenium and Playwright for targeted automation when needed, especially in cloud‑migration contexts.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on software quality assurance experience, primarily with manual testing of complex web applications.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Experience writing clear acceptance criteria, test plans, and test cases.
• Ability to work independently while keeping stakeholders informed.
