Senior Manager, Internal Investigations & Compliance

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Manager to lead internal investigations and compliance initiatives in Buenos Aires. The role involves handling reports of possible misconduct, conducting independent investigations, and advising on ethics and risk matters.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and assess reported concerns of misconduct, serving as a confidential resource for partners and employees.
• Design and execute investigation plans, interview reporters, witnesses and subjects, collect evidence, and document findings in the firm’s ethics case management system.
• Lead the discipline committee process when investigations substantiate claims, ensuring alignment with internal policies and best practices.
• Collaborate with People, Risk Management, Information Security, and the Office of General Counsel to address compliance vulnerabilities and develop corrective action plans.
• Conduct root‑cause analyses, identify control gaps, and recommend policy and process improvements.
• Develop and deliver ethics and compliance training and communications in partnership with Learning & Development.

Required profile

• Proven experience in internal investigations, compliance, or related ethics functions, preferably within a professional services environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, capable of navigating ambiguous situations.
• Excellent communication skills, able to build trust with stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated commitment to upholding ethical standards and the firm’s code of conduct.
