Senior Lead Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Join JPMorgan Chase as a Senior Lead Site Reliability Engineer within the Infrastructure Platforms and Foundational Services team. You will define non‑functional requirements, ensure reliability targets, and drive observability and AI‑assisted reliability across complex systems.

Key responsibilities

• Create high‑quality designs, roadmaps and program charters in collaboration with engineering.
• Mentor technologists, champion site reliability culture and lead adoption of AI‑assisted reliability workflows.
• Design and implement observability, monitoring and reliability solutions for robust, low‑toil systems.
• Utilize enterprise‑authorized AI tools for incident analysis, requirements traceability and operational decision‑making.
• Contribute to JPMorgan Chase’s site reliability community through forums, guilds and conferences.

Required profile

• Formal training or certification in site reliability engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Advanced knowledge of SRE principles, observability, distributed systems and cloud‑native technologies.
• Experience building AI agents and using AI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI) and tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude).
• Strong background in designing logging pipelines, metrics collection and distributed tracing.
