Senior Lead Network Security Engineer

As a Senior Lead Network Security Engineer you will apply deep expertise in proxy and secure gateway technologies to protect critical assets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client and stakeholder relationships, providing clear communication on timelines and expectations.
• Maintain and improve processes by creating documentation and runbooks aligned with engineering standards.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for proxy‑related issues.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to align proxy solutions with organizational goals.
• Enhance change‑management practices by developing standardized implementation templates.
• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

Required profile

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure disciplines with 5+ years of hands‑on experience.
• Experience installing, migrating, and decommissioning Broadcom (Bluecoat) devices, including Proxy SG, Secure Web Gateway (ISG), Symantec CAS, SSL Visibility appliances, and Symantec Management Center.
• Familiarity with SaaS secure gateway vendors such as Zscaler and Netskope.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, security concepts, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, and vulnerability mitigation.
• Proficiency with REST APIs, container‑based deployments, version control, and SIEM tools.
• Automation skills using shell, Python, and Ansible playbooks.
• Solid networking fundamentals: VLANs, routing, switching, load balancing, firewalls.
• Willingness to work off‑hours and participate in a 24x7 on‑call rotation.
