Senior Java Engineer

About the role

Join intive’s global team of around 2,000 professionals to design, develop and maintain backend applications and micro‑services for leading brands such as Audi, BMW, Meta and Warner Bros. Discovery. You will work in an agile environment, delivering high‑performance Java solutions on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java (11/17+) backend services using Spring Boot.
• Implement and maintain secure, scalable REST APIs and micro‑service architectures.
• Write unit tests with JUnit and Mockito to ensure code quality.
• Model and optimise data persistence in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Use Gradle for build automation and manage dependencies.
• Deploy, operate and monitor applications in AWS cloud environments.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Java (11 or 17+) and Spring Boot.
• Hands‑on experience building RESTful APIs and micro‑services.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and Gradle.
• Experience with AWS services and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
