Senior International Tax Consultant

About the role

The Senior International Tax Consultant provides end‑to‑end tax expertise for the company’s global operations. The role ensures accurate tax provisioning, regulatory compliance, and high‑quality advisory support while leveraging AI, automation and data analytics to modernise tax processes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret local and international tax regulations affecting the business.
• Provide senior‑level advisory on cross‑border transactions, permanent establishment risks and withholding taxes.
• Oversee compliance with tax authorities, coordinate audit responses and regulatory requests.
• Calculate, review and validate tax provisions under US GAAP and local statutory rules.
• Support current and deferred tax calculations, including uncertain tax positions and ETR reconciliation.
• Design and maintain tax controls to ensure SOX compliance and audit readiness.
• Develop tax documentation and technical position papers.
• Collaborate with Global Tax, Legal, Accounting and external advisors.
• Promote AI, automation and advanced analytics to improve tax provisioning and risk management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in pure tax roles within international, complex environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Proven experience supporting financial statements, audits and regulatory reporting from a tax perspective.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
