Senior Financial Specialist

About the role

As a Senior Financial Specialist you will help the organization maintain a clear and reliable view of its financial position while translating financial data into meaningful business context. You will work with internal partners and the Leadership Team to support strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Review monthly financial reporting and communicate material observations to drive management action.
• Manage collection and consolidation of inputs for budget development and periodic forecast updates.
• Use profit and loss statements, variance analysis, trend patterns and peer benchmarks to evaluate performance and expectations.
• Present the monthly financial picture and business implications to the Leadership Team.
• Develop purpose‑built reports and identify opportunities to reduce manual effort.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance or a related field.
• At least three years of professional experience in finance, auditing or a closely related area.
• Strong ability to organize workload, assess complex information and meet deadlines.
• Professional English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (PivotTables, data visualisation, complex formulas).
• PowerPoint for business‑focused presentations.
• SQL, VBA and Power BI for data retrieval, processing and visual analytics (nice to have).
