Senior Financial Controlling Analyst

About the role

AbbVie is seeking a Senior Financial Controlling Analyst to act as the liaison between Centers of Excellence (Treasury, Accounting, Tax, Procurement, etc.) and Business Process Outsourcing teams. The role supports month‑end and year‑end close processes, internal and external audits, and drives financial controls across multiple cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise between COEs and BPO for all financial cycles.
• Participate in internal controls for OTC, PTP, RTR, and CTE processes to mitigate risk.
• Support month‑end and year‑end financial close activities and audits.
• Analyze purchase orders for the South Cluster, monitor audit findings, and follow up on DPO to identify working‑capital opportunities.
• Manage Concur Travel & Expenses processes, update dashboards, and oversee the corporate credit‑card program.
• Monitor fixed assets, support monthly trial‑balance analysis, track contingencies, and follow up on capital expenditures.

Required profile

• CPA, Business Administration, Economics or related degree.
• Experience with external audits.
• Previous experience in the health or pharmaceutical sector is desirable.
• Intermediate level of English.
