Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

Ecolab is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Global FP&A Supply Chain Finance Ops Admin team in Buenos Aires. The role provides financial oversight, analysis, and decision support for senior supply chain leaders, helping manage spend, strengthen controls, and improve visibility of costs and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead finance discussions with VP‑level and senior executives to align budgets, forecasts, and investment priorities.
• Develop monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting packages with forecasts and executive commentary.
• Lead the monthly close process, ensuring compliance with SOX and internal audit requirements.
• Prepare journal entries, reconcile key accounts and maintain robust financial controls.
• Analyze financial results to identify drivers, risks and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations.
• Prepare recurring reports on functional spend, headcount and project‑level activity for leadership decision‑making.
• Support annual budget planning, forecast accuracy and resource allocation with detailed expense, headcount and project analysis.
• Lead ad‑hoc analysis, special projects and process‑improvement initiatives across Supply Chain Finance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of finance experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements and economic analysis.
• Proficiency in English.
• No immigration sponsorship is offered.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with EPM/HFM, financial systems, databases and ad‑hoc reporting tools.
