Senior FAAS Advisor – Assurance

About the role

EY Global Delivery Services in Argentina is seeking a Senior professional to join its Assurance FAAS team. The role involves delivering high‑quality advisory services on accounting, regulatory, and transaction matters for clients across the Americas and EMEIA.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the quality of service delivery and oversee daily progress of fieldwork.
• Execute FAAS solutions, including accounting and PMO support for transactions such as purchase‑price allocations, divestitures, IPOs, SPACs, and bankruptcy fresh‑start accounting.
• Prepare financial statements and lead GAAP conversion projects (IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP).
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, governance frameworks, and process controls.
• Respond to client requests promptly, identify service issues, and benchmark client data against industry standards.
• Apply professional judgment to complex accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP and Indian accounting and auditing standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing abilities.
• Proven experience researching emerging accounting issues, regulations, and industry practices.
• Flexibility to travel on short notice as needed.
• Experience in at least three of the following areas: transaction accounting, purchase‑price allocation, divestiture accounting, IPO support, or GAAP conversion.
