Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, deploy and operate AWS‑based infrastructure that powers telecom platforms. The role will focus on containerised workloads, serverless services and end‑to‑end automation in a collaborative DevOps culture.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using serverless and container‑based architectures.
• Work with core AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, ECS/EKS, SQS/SNS and CloudWatch.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and the Serverless Framework.
• Build, deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm and ArgoCD.
• Create and support CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Monitor system performance and reliability with Grafana and CloudWatch.
• Write automation and operational scripts in Bash, Python or JavaScript.
• Apply security best practices and support compliance initiatives such as SOC 2.
• Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to improve stability and delivery speed.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and core managed services.
• Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes ecosystems, including Helm and ArgoCD.
• Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana and CloudWatch.
• Scripting experience with Bash and Python or JavaScript.
• Understanding of cloud security fundamentals and compliance requirements (e.g., SOC 2).
• Clear communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Strong sense of ownership and continuous improvement.
