Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure/AWS/Terraform)

About the role

Darwoft is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead a cloud migration initiative for a health‑tech client. The role is fully remote within LATAM and involves designing a new Azure environment that will work alongside an existing AWS platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure infrastructure that complements the current AWS ecosystem.
• Build, configure, and automate cloud resources using Terraform or similar IaC tools.
• Create reusable infrastructure modules and standardized deployment patterns.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and promote DevOps best practices across the software delivery lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cloud architects and engineering teams to translate business requirements into secure, scalable solutions.
• Configure Azure networking, identity, security, compute, storage, and platform services.
• Enable interoperability and connectivity between Azure and AWS environments.
• Monitor availability, performance, security, and cost; implement observability, logging, and alerting.
• Ensure compliance with security, access management, and governance standards.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, deployment, and CI/CD issues and document solutions.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in cloud engineering and DevOps.
• Full‑time availability with priority to Darwoft projects during agreed working hours.
• Ability to work remotely and coordinate with teams in the US and LATAM.
• Strong communication skills in English (B2/C1 level).
