Senior Commercial Operations Manager

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Commercial Operations Manager to lead the Commercial Operations function for the Surgery Southern Cluster. The role focuses on driving commercial effectiveness, business transformation, digital enablement, and operational excellence to support sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategies aligned with Business Unit objectives to achieve profitable growth across the Southern Cluster.
• Oversee Bids & Tenders strategy and execution, ensuring competitive positioning, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Lead cross‑functional transformation initiatives to improve commercial processes, operational efficiency, customer experience, and business outcomes.
• Manage commercial operations and sales enablement processes, including contract management, consignment, fixed assets, rebates, bonuses, free goods, samples, and tenders.
• Drive the Sales Force Effectiveness agenda, covering territory optimization, segmentation, opportunity management, and sales productivity improvement.
• Partner with stakeholders to align strategic priorities and ensure execution of key initiatives.
• Establish governance mechanisms and leadership forums to monitor strategic priorities, performance, risks, and execution progress.
• Promote continuous improvement, operational discipline, and a high‑performance culture across the commercial organization.
• Define and execute the commercial digital transformation roadmap, fostering digital adoption, agile ways of working, and data‑driven decision‑making.
