Senior Business Architect

About the role

The Senior Business Architect will shape the data and analytics business architecture for the Ritz‑Carlton Yacht Collection, translating corporate strategy into clear architectural blueprints that guide platform development and analytics product delivery. This role partners with business leaders and technology teams to ensure alignment with enterprise objectives and to embed analytics into everyday decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain RCYC’s data & analytics business architecture, including value streams, business capabilities, and integration points across departments.
• Translate corporate strategy into actionable architecture blueprints that guide platform development and analytics product delivery.
• Partner with business unit leaders to align analytics capabilities with enterprise objectives and support governance processes.
• Architect how data products (dashboards, KPIs, models) integrate into business processes, maximizing adoption and impact.
• Define business capability requirements for the analytics platform and ensure incorporation into platform modernization efforts.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on business architecture and data strategy.
• Facilitate collaboration between technology teams (data engineers, platform architects) and business units (sales, marketing, call center, finance).
• Shape the enterprise analytics roadmap, ensuring prioritization reflects strategic impact and identifying cross‑functional integration opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing enterprise business architecture and translating strategy into actionable blueprints.
• Strong ability to partner with senior business leaders and influence governance and alignment initiatives.
• Experience enabling analytics adoption across multiple business functions.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, acting as a trusted advisor to executive leadership.
• Ability to drive strategic road‑mapping and prioritize cross‑functional integration opportunities.
