Senior Associate – Cyber Defense & Network Security

About the role

PwC is looking for a Senior Associate to join its Cyber Defense & Engineering team. You will design, implement and maintain robust network security solutions for a portfolio of clients, helping them protect critical data and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and apply security architectures, frameworks and best practices across client environments.
• Design, configure and manage firewalls, SD‑WAN, routing and switching solutions.
• Implement network access control, VPN, IPSEC and DMVPN architectures.
• Integrate cloud security platforms and monitor security events.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to assess risks and deliver proactive remediation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• 5‑7 years of experience in network and security infrastructure.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral.
• Ability to work independently and guide junior team members.

Required skills

• Palo Alto NGFWs, Panorama, Prisma Access, PA SD‑WAN, GlobalProtect
• Silverpeak and other SD‑WAN platforms
• Cisco routing & switching: BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, Nexus, ISR/ASR routers
• LAN/WAN design, DMVPN, IPSEC architectures
• Cisco ISE (NAC) and similar AAA solutions
• Cloud security tools: Netskope (DLP, SWG), Zscaler (ZPA, ZIA)
• Monitoring and integration services
• Certifications: GIAC (preferred), CCIE, CCNP, CCNA, firewall certifications (Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, Fortinet, Checkpoint)
