Senior Android Engineer – Remote – Argentina

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join our remote‑first team. You will help design and deliver high‑impact mobile solutions, working closely with product, design, and backend engineers to create scalable, intuitive Android applications.

Key responsibilities

• Translate product and design specifications into technical tasks and own feature delivery from development to production deployment.
• Architect, build, and maintain resilient, well‑tested native Android apps using Kotlin.
• Design robust network, caching, and offline‑first layers for reliable performance under varying connectivity.
• Integrate third‑party SDKs, hardware capabilities, and RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Develop modern, responsive UI with Jetpack Compose while ensuring smooth animations and high frame rates.
• Participate in technical design reviews, define Android engineering standards, and leverage AI‑assisted development tools.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily in native Android development.
• Proven track record taking greenfield products from concept to launch.
• Strong command of Kotlin, Coroutines, Flow, and Android architectural patterns (MVVM, MVI).
• Experience with Jetpack components, Hilt/Dagger, and writing clean, testable code.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Bitrise, GitHub Actions) and Google Play Console deployment.
• Active use of AI‑assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
