Senior Android Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our team and help build high‑quality mobile applications for a broad audience. You will collaborate with designers, product owners, QA and fellow engineers in an innovative, globally distributed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Android applications delivering excellent user experiences.
• Write, refactor and clean code to keep the codebase healthy and evolving.
• Use build tools such as Gradle, CI pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI) to streamline development and delivery.
• Apply continuous integration patterns and manage automated testing.
• Detect, troubleshoot and resolve bugs to ensure stability and reliability.
• Implement asynchronous programming patterns (Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, RxJava) for concurrent operations.
• Perform performance analysis and optimisation for smooth app operation.
• Maintain legacy code while integrating modern components like Jetpack Compose.
• Write unit and integration tests using JUnit, Espresso and test fakes.
• Contribute to open‑source projects and initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong English communication skills (B2 level or higher).

Required skills

• Kotlin (including Flow and Coroutines).
• RxJava.
• Jetpack Compose.
• Android SDK and modern architecture patterns (MVI).
• Dependency injection (Dagger).
• Build and CI/CD tools: Gradle, GitHub Actions, CircleCI.
• Testing frameworks: JUnit, Espresso, test fakes.
• Networking libraries: OkHttp, REST API consumption.
• API documentation with RAML.
• Mocking tools such as WireMock.
