Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to lead our financial close activities and ensure accurate, compliant accounting under US GAAP and Argentina GAAP. You will partner with cross‑functional teams, support audits, SEC filings and SOX compliance, and drive automation of accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and annual close processes, preparing complex journal entries and detailed reconciliations.
• Analyze results, investigate fluctuations and apply appropriate accounting treatments.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff on journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Support SEC filings, maintain SOX compliance and assist with internal and external audits.
• Identify automation opportunities and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with other functions to supply accurate financial data for business decisions.

Required profile

• Strong technical accounting expertise with experience in US GAAP and Argentina GAAP.
• Proven ability to manage complex accounting issues independently.
• Experience supporting SEC reporting and SOX compliance.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to mentor junior team members.
