Senior Accountant

About the role

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead the full accounting cycle, ensure accurate financial reporting under US GAAP and local Argentine standards, and maintain fiscal compliance. The role combines day‑to‑day accounting operations with strategic tax and audit responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present financial statements and reports.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes.
• Reconcile and analyse balance sheets, converting local GAAP figures to US GAAP.
• Execute inflation adjustments (RT 6) and produce audited annual statements.
• Develop variance reports for balance sheet items.
• Coordinate and supervise external audits.
• Supervise and approve tax settlements (income tax, VAT, provincial taxes) and manage withholding, collection and retention regimes.
• Provide data for transfer‑pricing declarations.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and offer accounting/tax guidance to business units.

Required profile

• University degree in Public Accounting with a current professional license.
• Minimum 4 years of senior accounting or tax experience.
• Advanced or bilingual English (written and oral).
• Proficiency with ARCA platforms, SIAP applications and provincial revenue portals.
• Experience with Oracle is a plus.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and Google productivity tools.
