Senior Accountant / Controller (Full‑Charge)

About the role

Retrouvai, a globally recognised luxury fine‑jewellery brand, is looking for a Senior Accountant / Controller to own the entire accounting function on a remote basis. Reporting directly to the founders, you will be the single point of accountability for clean books, timely reporting and robust financial controls across a fast‑growing international business.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and record all transactions in QuickBooks Online.
• Process accounts payable, vendor payments and manage accounts receivable, invoicing and collections.
• Perform monthly bank and credit‑card reconciliations and execute the full month‑end close.
• Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and present variance analysis to leadership.
• Run payroll through QuickBooks Online / Gusto and ensure accurate tax filings.
• Oversee inventory and cost accounting, tracking raw materials, WIP, finished goods, COGS and gross margins.
• Develop and improve scalable accounting processes, introduce automation and coordinate year‑end tax work with an external CPA.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full‑charge bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Proven ability to work independently and own the complete accounting cycle.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and fluent English communication.
• Experience in inventory‑driven or product businesses is strongly preferred.
