Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator

About the role

Join the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection and manage the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform for an ultra‑luxury hospitality brand. You will ensure the platform runs smoothly, supports marketing initiatives and complies with global data regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Platform Administration: manage user provisioning, roles, permissions, business units and security settings.
• Data Management: design and maintain Data Extensions, attribute groups and relationships; write and optimise SQL queries for segmentation and data imports/exports.
• System Integration: monitor Marketing Cloud Connect to ensure seamless data flow between Salesforce CRM (Sales/Service Cloud) and Marketing Cloud.
• Campaign Support & Configuration: assist marketing teams with Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio and Mobile Studio setup.
• Troubleshooting & Support: act as first‑line support for platform issues, failed automations, deliverability problems and data sync errors.
• Governance & Compliance: enforce data hygiene, folder organisation and naming conventions; ensure compliance with CAN‑SPAM, GDPR, CCPA and other regulations.
• Release Management: stay current with Salesforce releases, assess impact and recommend enhancements.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of dedicated experience administering Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Active Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator certification (Marketing Cloud Email Specialist or Consultant a plus).
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent communication skills to translate marketing needs into technical solutions.

Required skills

• Automation Studio and Journey Builder proficiency.
• Advanced SQL for complex data segmentation.
• AMPscript for dynamic content personalization.
• HTML/CSS knowledge for email template troubleshooting.
• Marketing Cloud Connect and integration with Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud.
• REST and SOAP API integration experience.
