About the role
GlobalLogic is seeking a senior Sales Director to lead end‑to‑end sales activities for its BFSI practice. Reporting to the SVP, Financial Services and Consumer, you will shape go‑to‑market motions for digital product development services and help enterprise clients achieve value from digital transformation initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Own and drive the full sales cycle for new and existing prospects, from lead generation to contract closure.
- Develop and execute a sales strategy and account plan for targeted enterprise accounts.
- Maintain a visible presence with key firms, personally closing strategic deals.
- Achieve agreed sales, profit and gross‑margin targets.
- Generate new client relationships and expand business with existing customers.
- Leverage personal network to create sales opportunities and revenue.
- Stay informed on market trends, technology solutions, and client business drivers.
- Support client management activities, including sales support, service delivery, and contract administration.
Required profile
- Proven track record of winning new business in financial services or related business units.
- Experience selling software solutions, consulting services, digital product engineering, and transformation services.
- Strong stakeholder‑management skills with the ability to build long‑term relationships.
- Consistently achieved and exceeded sales targets.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
Required skills
- Deep understanding of custom software development services, including design thinking.
- Knowledge of digital technologies such as data, AI, cloud, and modernization.
- Familiarity with IT managed services and CI/CD iterative software solutions.
