Retention Specialist – Email & SMS Marketing

About the role

We are looking for a Retention Specialist to lead email and SMS marketing for a portfolio of DTC/e‑commerce clients. You will translate data into strategy, execute campaigns, and drive revenue for fast‑growing brands.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of email and SMS strategies, handling copywriting, briefing, testing, QA, deployment and performance monitoring.
• Contribute to monthly retention calendars, propose creative concepts and present them to clients.
• Partner with design to align visual and copy elements for optimal results.
• Build, audit and optimize automation flows, pop‑up logic, segmentation and app integrations.
• Analyze performance data and provide actionable recommendations to improve retention KPIs.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in email/SMS marketing, lifecycle marketing or CRM, preferably at a DTC‑focused agency or e‑commerce brand.
• Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone across brands.
• Strategic thinker focused on customer journey, LTV and churn reduction.
• Client‑facing, organized, self‑managed and able to handle multiple accounts in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English.

• Klaviyo (flows, segmentation, A/B testing, deliverability, reporting).
