Remote Project Manager and Executive Assistant

About the role

Genie Academy is seeking a remote professional who can both drive project delivery and protect the founder’s time. In this hybrid role you will translate strategic goals into actionable plans, keep projects on track, and provide high‑level executive support.

Key responsibilities

• Convert annual goals and quarterly Rocks into sprints, milestones, and tasks with clear owners and deadlines.
• Run the delivery rhythm: plan sprints, facilitate stand‑ups, maintain backlogs, and clear blockers weekly.
• Maintain a single source of truth for project status, ownership, and risk.
• Own the founder’s calendar, guard deep‑work blocks, and manage inbox triage.
• Prepare meeting agendas, take notes, and follow up on action items, including weekly Level 10 meetings.
• Draft communications, documents, and updates on the founder’s behalf.
• Coordinate travel, bookings, and logistics.
• Provide a concise weekly status report covering shipped work, delays, and decisions needed.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in project management, executive support, or a blended role.
• Proven ability to break large goals into detailed plans with owners and dates.
• Familiarity with EOS, Scaling Up, Scrum, Agile, or Kanban methodologies.
• Excellent written English and strong discretion handling sensitive information.
• Self‑directed, reliable, and calm under competing priorities.
