Remote Electrical Estimator – Construction Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Remote Electrical Estimator to support a growing electrical contracting firm that specializes in multifamily, commercial and light‑industrial projects across the United States. The position is fully remote, works on Pacific Time business hours, and collaborates closely with senior estimators and project managers to produce accurate, competitive bids.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and plans.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for multifamily, commercial and light‑industrial projects.
• Assemble and submit bid packages, ensuring all required documentation is complete.
• Utilize estimating software such as Accubid, Bluebeam and Procore to streamline calculations.
• Review project specifications, drawings and bid documents for accuracy.
• Maintain organized estimate records and project files.
• Support multiple bids simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
• Identify and suggest improvements to estimating workflows.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience estimating U.S. construction projects, with a focus on electrical work.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial and multifamily construction processes.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently during Pacific Time business hours.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
