Quality Control (QC) Project Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Quality Control (QC) Project Assistant to be the final checkpoint for accuracy, clarity, and consistency across client deliverables at TransPerfect. The role supports the translation production team by ensuring that every file meets client specifications before it is sent out.

Key responsibilities

• Perform rigorous quality control checks on translation certificates, file naming, properties and file types to confirm client requirements are met.
• Conduct non‑linguistic reviews of deliverables, verifying adherence to glossaries, reference files and client instructions, and correcting formatting or layout issues.
• Monitor that previous quality steps were completed correctly and report recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain and update internal style guides and QC checklists to ensure consistency across projects.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies, propose process enhancements and support the implementation of new quality tools.
• Provide constructive feedback to production and linguist teams to continuously raise delivery standards.

Required profile

• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies under tight deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for delivering clear, actionable feedback.
• Effective time‑management and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using Adobe Acrobat for document review.
