Proposal & Strategy Manager

About the role

The Proposal & Strategy Manager leads the end‑to‑end RFP process for Assurant, developing win strategies and ensuring high‑quality, compliant submissions that showcase the company’s value proposition.

Key responsibilities

• Own the development and execution of client‑focused win plans and translate complex requirements into compelling narratives.
• Lead the full RFP lifecycle from intake to final delivery, overseeing integrated deliverables such as proposals, presentations and videos.
• Coordinate 10‑50 cross‑functional contributors, aligning roles, deadlines and deliverables while maintaining accountability.
• Drive process excellence by evolving RFP management tools, tracking KPIs and implementing continuous improvements.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience managing complex, multi‑stakeholder projects.
• Highly organized, able to think on the fly and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Comfortable communicating with senior leaders daily and influencing cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in proposal management tools and standard office software.
