Production Planner

About the role

The Production Planner joins Costa Farms' Outdoor Production Planning team to execute initiatives that keep the Production Plan accurate and on schedule. This role ensures the Demand Plan aligns with operational execution, supporting the farm’s overall productivity and success.

Key responsibilities

• Research and implement Work Order changes when supply or inventory constraints arise.
• Handle Live Goods replacement requests and execute feasible Work Order adjustments.
• Report regularly on all Work Order changes and maintain plan alignment.
• Verify that Work Orders contain complete information for Operations.
• Collaborate with Live Goods Sourcing on unresolved supply constraints.
• Review the Demand Plan in Sage, identify missing data, and enter the Production Plan via MPS.
• Monitor LGIR and Power BI reports to ensure plan‑demand alignment.
• Maintain plan integrity according to Bill of Resources and routing changes.
• Update SOPs and manage ERP resources and the Materials Catalog for Live Goods.

Required profile

• Residency in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in Production Planning or Supply Chain Management.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Understanding of supply‑chain activities; horticultural knowledge a plus.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Sage ERP system.
• Master Production Schedule (MPS) tools.
• Power BI for reporting.
• General ERP proficiency.
