Product Controller – Cash Equities

About the role

The Product Controller for Cash Equities will support financial controllers and trading desks, ensuring accurate P&L, balance‑sheet and month‑end close processes. You will act as a key liaison between front‑office trading teams and back‑office functions, providing reliable financial reporting and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily P&L reporting and month‑end close procedures.
• Prepare detailed financial analysis and reports for desk heads, business managers and senior finance leadership.
• Partner with the business to implement robust controls and support new initiatives.
• Coordinate with front‑ and back‑office support functions to resolve control and reporting issues promptly.
• Serve as an analytical and project support resource for the product control team.
• Handle various ad‑hoc requests on a daily basis.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in product control, financial control, accounting or a related area.
• Hands‑on experience with P&L reporting and month‑end close processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
• Solid understanding of financial products (advantageous).
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships.
