Principal Strategic Cyber Security Consultant

About the role

As a Principal Strategic Cyber Security Consultant you will lead and support client projects that assess, test, and build security programs. You will work with teams of 2‑5 colleagues and advise organizations ranging from start‑ups to Fortune 100 companies on best practices and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead security assessments, testing, and program design for diverse clients.
• Provide strategic guidance on cyber‑defense operations, incident response, architecture, IAM, and vulnerability management.
• Develop and implement security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST 800‑53.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
• Travel up to 30% of the time to client sites as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber‑security, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience delivering cyber‑security solutions across multiple domains.
• At least 3 years experience with security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST 800‑53).
• Proven ability to design and operate security program functions, including cyber‑defense, incident response, and risk management.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
