Portfolio Leader – Builder People Leader

About the role

Salesforce is seeking a Portfolio Leader to directly manage and grow a team of technical AI specialists delivering Agentforce solutions in complex enterprise environments. This hands‑on leadership position blends engineering excellence with executive‑level influence.

Key responsibilities

• Own capacity planning, talent acquisition, and staffing for cross‑functional squads deploying Agentforce at scale.
• Set engineering standards, unblock complex deployments, and scale talent shipping production AI.
• Partner with Product and Engineering on pilot programs and beta rollouts, feeding field insights into the Agentforce roadmap.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop Technical and Strategic Builders, driving technical excellence and career growth.
• Monitor delivery metrics, coach teams on optimization, and handle high‑stakes customer escalations.
• Serve as final technical escalation point, providing architectural judgment across Salesforce platform, LLM techniques, data pipelines, and agentic orchestration.

Required profile

• 4+ years of direct people management or high‑impact technical leadership of cross‑functional engineering teams.
• Deep architectural understanding of AI, large language models, and the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Hands‑on experience deploying Salesforce Data Cloud and the Agentforce platform at enterprise scale.
• Proven ability to engage executive‑level stakeholders and influence global customer strategies.
• Strong problem‑solving instincts and a “ship‑it” mindset, thriving in fast‑paced, production‑focused environments.
