PLC Engineer

About the role

As a PLC Engineer you will design, program and maintain industrial automation systems using PLC technology. You will collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure reliable and efficient control processes across diverse industrial environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain PLC programs for automated systems.
• Analyse system requirements and translate them into control logic.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in PLC‑controlled processes.
• Integrate PLCs with SCADA, HMI and other industrial systems.
• Perform testing, commissioning and validation of automation solutions.
• Ensure system reliability, safety and performance optimisation.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation.
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
• Experience with Siemens, Allen‑Bradley or Schneider PLC platforms.
• Fluency in English.
• Customer‑success orientation and ability to work in Agile or structured project environments.
