People Business Partner - LATAM Based

About the role

Trafilea is looking for a People Business Partner to support its LATAM operations. This senior HR partner will act as a strategic advisor, helping leaders attract, develop, and retain top talent while scaling the employee experience alongside rapid business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full employee lifecycle, from hiring diagnostics and scorecards to onboarding, development, and retention.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to functional leaders, aligning people decisions with business objectives.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards on hiring priorities, budgets, and organizational capacity each quarter.
• Ensure hiring excellence with clear scorecards, levels, and job descriptions; lead robust onboarding processes.
• Manage performance cycles, including reviews, calibrations, succession planning, IDPs for high performers, and PIPs for low performers.
• Lead organizational design reviews, close efficiency gaps, and redesign teams for scale.
• Drive transformational initiatives tied to growth, operational excellence, or culture.
• Analyze engagement data, co‑own L&D programs, and address skill gaps to boost retention.
• Coach leaders and employees, ensure policy compliance, and strengthen leadership routines with PMO, process, and audit teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years as a senior‑level People/HR Manager or HR Business Partner in fast‑growth or multinational environments.
• Proven experience partnering directly with functional leaders to influence strategic decisions.
• Hands‑on expertise in performance management, workforce planning, talent development, and organizational design.
• Strong analytical ability to define KPIs, monitor dashboards, and optimize processes.
• Project‑management certification or willingness to complete a paid 4‑month asynchronous course.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
