Part‑Time Controller & Finance Lead (Remote)

About the role

Parlor Social Club is looking for a part‑time, hands‑on Controller and Finance Lead to own accounting operations, monthly reporting, budgeting, cash forecasting and financial controls. The role is remote (Colombia or Argentina) with regular overlap with New York business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the monthly financial close, including bookkeeping review, journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate recording of revenue, expenses, liabilities, accruals and prepaid items.
• Produce timely monthly financial statements and maintain a clear chart of accounts.
• Generate profit‑and‑loss reports by city, division and activity, and prepare budget‑versus‑actual analyses.
• Develop and maintain a rolling cash‑flow forecast and monitor cash needs.
• Create concise financial dashboards for senior leadership and explain results to non‑financial managers.
• Oversee the existing bookkeeper and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• Experienced finance professional comfortable working directly in an accounting system.
• Strong attention to detail for transaction review, reconciliation and error correction.
• Ability to improve finance processes and reporting efficiency.
• Effective communicator who can translate financial data for operational leaders.
