Part-Time Medical Billing & Revenue Cycle Administrator

About the role

Zappy is seeking a Part‑Time Medical Billing & Revenue Cycle Administrator to support a cash‑based telemedicine practice focused on hormone health, weight loss, and longevity. The role is remote and flexible, handling the full revenue cycle while ensuring accurate financial and membership records.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the entire revenue cycle from patient onboarding to reconciliation.
• Manage patient onboarding and payment workflows using the HYFIN system.
• Audit active memberships, verify pharmacy charges, and generate bi‑weekly revenue reports.
• Communicate billing inquiries, payment issues, and outstanding balances to patients via email.
• Coordinate with insurance companies and labs to confirm diagnosis coding and obtain prior authorizations.
• Monitor incoming faxes, triage scanned mail, and maintain organized patient records in the EMR.
• Maintain operational spreadsheets and assist with additional administrative tasks to improve provider efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management.
• High proficiency with EMR systems.
• Experience completing prior authorizations and communicating with insurers.
• Excellent written English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems without constant supervision.
