About the role

Political Asylum Lawyers, a Houston‑based immigration firm, is seeking a dedicated Paralegal to support asylum cases for clients across the United States. The position is open to candidates residing in Argentina and involves close collaboration with attorneys to develop and manage high‑stakes asylum files.

Key responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing client statements, evidence lists, and portions of legal briefs.
• Conduct country‑conditions research to support asylum claims.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, communicating daily via phone and email in English and Spanish.
• Proactively manage case timelines, ensuring all filing deadlines are met.
• Compile and submit required documentation to immigration agencies.
• Perform routine administrative tasks to keep case files organized.

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with fluency in English and Spanish.
• High level of maturity and emotional resilience to handle demanding client situations.
