Operations Manager – Custom Millshop (High-End Architectural Millwork)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Operations Manager to lead daily activities in our high‑end custom millshop located in Nassau, Bahamas. You will coordinate projects from approved shop drawings through fabrication and installation, ensuring top‑quality craftsmanship and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily millshop operations and production workflow.
• Manage production schedules, priorities, and project deadlines.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, designers, contractors, and installation teams.
• Attend project and site meetings as required.
• Order and track materials, hardware, and supplies.
• Monitor quality control throughout production and installation.
• Identify and resolve production, scheduling, or operational challenges.
• Improve shop efficiency, workflow, and operational processes.
• Lead, support, and motivate shop and operations personnel.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Degree in Architecture, Industrial Design, Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Experience in millwork, cabinetry, woodworking, or construction‑related operations.
• Strong project coordination, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and architectural plans.
• Proven leadership, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.

Required skills

• Software: Mozaik, Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, Promob, Dinabox.
• Technical: CNC operation, carpentry, shop drawing interpretation, millwork fabrication.
