Middle Advanced React Native Engineer

About the role

Avenga is looking for a Middle Advanced React Native Engineer to join its Mobile & Cross‑Platform Solutions team in Argentina. You will design, develop, and maintain high‑quality mobile applications and Backend‑for‑Frontend (BFF) services, delivering engaging user experiences within a micro‑services ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and customize React Native mobile applications and BFF layers using Node.js and NestJS.
• Implement navigation and state management with React Navigation, Redux or Context API.
• Integrate design system libraries and UI component frameworks.
• Write unit tests, conduct code reviews, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Produce technical documentation, functional specifications, and architecture diagrams.
• Collaborate across the full product lifecycle from prototyping to deployment and support.
• Promote innovation, suggest process improvements, and share knowledge with the team.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven track record in cross‑platform mobile development with React Native.
• Strong knowledge of Node.js (v18+) and NestJS for BFF development.
• Hands‑on experience with Android Studio and Xcode.
• Solid understanding of micro‑services architecture and REST/SOAP services.
