Microsoft Co-Innovation Portfolio Specialist (Assistant Director)

About the role

EY's Microsoft Alliance Co-Innovation team brings together EY's sector and service-line expertise with Microsoft's technology capabilities to build scalable solutions for client transformation. As a Portfolio Specialist (Assistant Director) in the GDS Alliances Program Ops CoE, you will manage the solution portfolio, its governance rhythm, investment prioritization, execution visibility and performance tracking, working with domain leadership, Microsoft stakeholders, sales, marketing and GDS teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead portfolio governance: run reviews, business reviews and cadence forums, track solutions across ideation, incubation, build, activation, scale and retirement, and help leadership prioritize initiatives.
• Focus on AI and emerging technologies: track AI, Copilot, Agentic AI, cloud, data and automation solutions, their readiness and commercialization potential, and promote responsible AI adoption.
• Support investment management: track funding asks, business cases and utilization, coordinate with alliance, commercial, solution and delivery teams, and prepare leadership summaries on funding status and risks.
• Align stakeholders: connect leadership, Microsoft field teams, service-line leaders, solution owners, sales and marketing, and coordinate working sessions and forums.
• Drive reporting and insights: maintain dashboards and trackers, monitor metrics on maturity, activation, adoption and funding, and prepare materials for monthly, quarterly and leadership reviews.
• Support go-to-market readiness: track demos, credentials, case studies, collateral and enablement material, and help scale successful solutions across accounts and sectors.

Required profile

• 10-15 years of relevant experience in portfolio management, program management, consulting, alliances, innovation management, transformation, product portfolio management or strategic operations.
• Experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives across domain or global stakeholder groups.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders, ambiguous priorities and evolving portfolios while focusing on measurable outcomes.
