Microsoft Campaign Activation Specialist – Assistant Director

About the role

The Microsoft Campaign Activation Specialist will lead the structured activation of Microsoft alliance campaigns across priority markets, turning approved strategies into executable plans. Reporting to the GDS MSFT Campaign Activation Lead, the role ensures consistent operationalization of campaign priorities across regions and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Translate approved Microsoft alliance, campaign and GTM priorities into detailed activation plans with milestones, owners and dependencies.
• Partner with Campaign Activation Strategists, Alliance Leadership and Operations to operationalize requirements and governance rhythms.
• Activate target account and market plans, coordinating messaging, value propositions and enablement materials.
• Manage day‑to‑day campaign activation across regions, including launch activities, awareness sessions and readiness checkpoints.
• Run regional cadence meetings, maintain action trackers, monitor progress and escalate risks through governance channels.
• Maintain campaign governance, reporting and performance discipline, providing leadership‑ready status updates and KPI reporting.

Required profile

• Strong program and campaign activation management experience at a senior level.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across cross‑functional teams.
• Practical understanding of Microsoft ecosystem priorities, Azure, Security and AI business solutions.
• Analytical orientation with ability to translate data into concise leadership insights.
• High ownership, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams in a matrixed environment.
