Mechanical Engineer – Mechanical Design of Electronic Systems

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design of electronic systems throughout the product lifecycle. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑paced environment to deliver innovative solutions that meet cost, time and quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to product development.
• Plan, conceptualize and mature designs through all lifecycle phases.
• Provide technical expertise to concurrent projects and support legacy products.
• Design, develop and deliver new products meeting cost‑time‑quality KPIs.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Proactively improve processes, tools and adopt new technologies and materials.
• Participate in system review meetings.
• Ensure sound technical solutions and optimum business benefits.

Required profile

• Autonomous, self‑motivated and proactive with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to influence internal and external customers.
• Ability to take full ownership of design tasks from concept to release.
• Experience delivering mechanical systems through the development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with PDM and SolidWorks Mechanical.
• Experience with 3D printing, metallic and composite technologies.
• Degree in Mechanical or Electro‑Mechanical Engineering.
