Logistics Operations Associate – Supply Chain

About the role

Halliburton is seeking a Logistics Operations Associate to support transportation services in Neuquen, Argentina. The role focuses on ensuring the timely and efficient movement of goods while maintaining high service quality for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor transportation activities, communicating regularly with carriers, internal customers, and operational teams.
• Review and control transportation documentation, freight invoices, and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Update operational reports, transportation metrics, and KPIs to aid business decisions and continuous improvement.
• Identify service deviations, delivery issues, and operational risks, collaborating on corrective actions.
• Utilize SAP and other logistics systems for transaction processing, shipment tracking, and reporting.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by validating freight charges and related expenses.
• Contribute to process optimisation, service performance, and operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with standards and customer requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Experience in logistics, transportation coordination, or related operational environments.
• Proven ability to interact with internal customers and external suppliers in a service‑oriented setting.
• Willingness to participate in an on‑call rotation schedule, including weekends and holidays as assigned.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP (ERP system).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
