Learning Solutions Advisor

About the role

The Site Training Solutions Team at IQVIA supports clinical trial site staff and study teams with effective, engaging training based on adult learning and behavioral science. The Learning Solutions Advisor provides day-to-day support and administration for virtual learning and development (L&D) assets, advises employees and management teams locally, regionally, globally or by function, and serves on cross-functional teams. The position is home-based, with frequent virtual meetings and collaboration with a globally distributed team; busy hours are 8am-12pm EST.

Key responsibilities

• Support the continuous development of the Learning Management System (LMS) and its integration with other systems and ancillary products
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide training on the LMS, including setting up usage rights for HR, managers and employees
• Provide ongoing support for performance management, content providers, hosting services and competency models
• Train subject matter experts and L&D staff on the Learning Content Management System and ensure they have the right access
• Establish and maintain a process for instructional design of courseware, upload online courseware for role-based trainers, and coordinate SMEs, designers and technical experts
• Maintain a network of professional L&D contacts and stay current on trends and competitor practices
• Serve on cross-functional teams as required

Required profile

• 3 years of relevant experience in Learning and Development or Learning Management Systems, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Knowledge of organizational development principles and methods
• Good interpersonal, project management, organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to prioritize, organize and manage multiple projects, and to work with internal staff, management and external contacts

Required skills

• Systems knowledge including Microsoft Office, HRIS applications and Learning Management Systems
• Good presentation, listening and diagnostic skills, and good verbal and written communication
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
