Lead Networking Engineer

About the role

Join the Global Technology Infrastructure group as a Lead Networking Engineer, where you will support a resilient and secure operating environment for a leading financial institution. You will act as the primary technical point of contact for network incidents, problems, and changes, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure service continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for incident, problem, change, and risk management related to network services.
• Manage vendor and client relationships, internal and external communications, and service delivery lifecycle.
• Perform administrative functions such as planning, tracking, ordering, reporting, and consumption of infrastructure resources.
• Define and drive MIS requirements to improve business processes.
• Provide escalation support for senior team members and act as an advocate for customers during critical issues.
• Coach, mentor, and lead less‑experienced team members, contributing to performance appraisals.

Required profile

• Strong curiosity and passion for technology with solid experience in network engineering.
• Willingness to learn or existing knowledge of scripting (e.g., Python) for automation.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical findings for management.
