Lead Front‑end Engineer (JavaScript) – Remote

About the role

Lead the front‑end engineering team for a digital agency serving top brands. Drive architecture, mentorship, and delivery of high‑quality, accessible web experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and onboard front‑end engineers in Buenos Aires.
• Define front‑end architecture, enforce engineering standards and scalable component practices.
• Conduct rigorous code reviews and ensure clean, performant JavaScript solutions.
• Integrate AI‑powered development tools such as Claude Code into workflows.
• Collaborate with design, product, leadership and client teams to deliver pixel‑perfect, accessible experiences.
• Oversee technical delivery, unit‑testing strategies, accessibility compliance and performance benchmarking.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional front‑end development experience.
• Proven technical leadership, mentorship or engineering guidance.
• Strong ownership, project‑management capabilities and ability to align technical decisions with business goals.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Required skills

• Advanced expertise in JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with React, Svelte, Vue, GSAP and Webpack.
• Automated testing tools and unit‑testing strategies.
• Deep understanding of web accessibility (ARIA, screen readers) and performance at scale.
• Hands‑on use of AI development tools such as Claude Code.
