KYC Team Lead – Wholesale Operations

About the role

J.P. Morgan is seeking a seasoned KYC professional to lead a team of analysts in Wholesale KYC Operations. The role focuses on client onboarding, renewals, and remediation while collaborating with Legal, Compliance, Technology, and Operations to ensure risk mitigation and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing team of KYC analysts.
• Oversee KYC tasks for onboarding, renewals, remediations and amendments.
• Ensure all work complies with AML/KYC policies and escalates issues when necessary.
• Act as the primary point of contact for business queries on KYC requirements.
• Drive quality control, maintain accurate records and address root‑cause issues.
• Maintain and update standard operating procedures.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve case blockers and improve execution.
• Track pending client documentation and liaise with relevant teams.
• Participate in or lead special projects, process improvements and training initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Proven experience in KYC/AML, client onboarding or related financial‑services operations.
• People‑management experience with a track record of coaching high‑performing teams.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a high‑volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail, risk awareness and sound judgment.
• Adaptability to changing priorities, processes and regulations.
