Junior Software Engineer (Remote, Argentina)

About the role

MixRank is looking for a passionate Junior Software Engineer to join its fully‑remote, globally distributed team. You will work on a variety of projects ranging from web applications to data pipelines, helping to process petabytes of data for customers such as Google, Amazon, and Facebook.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain code across Python, Rust, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL.
• Contribute to data mining, machine‑learning, ETL, and data‑modeling initiatives.
• Assist with database scaling, infrastructure, and DevOps tasks.
• Participate in frequent, fast deployments to production.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers to solve large‑scale technical challenges.

Required profile

• Strong enthusiasm for programming and building software.
• Interest in big‑data, databases, and data science.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and contribute to open‑source projects.
